Let us first speak plainly: these multilayered formes be hypotrochoids (as in the wondrous Spirograph®). Each doth bear three thresholds, to show light, middling, and grievous symptoms

An overly baroque leftover from my early designs An over-much adorned remnant of mine first designs

Experimentation

This project had me experiment a lot with different combinations of hypotrochoids, as the visuals were so key to the user's experience and ate up a lot of time

But I can honestly say that I really enjoyed it and here is an example of a more complex design that could not be used...

I also had a blast with Alde English translations (h/t ChatGPT)

Tryal of Arts

This undertaking did set me to much trial with diverse combinations of hypotrochoids, for the likenesses were of great moment to the user’s experience, and did consume no small portion of time

Yet may I truly say that I took great delight therein; and here is but one example of a more intricate design which could not be employed...

I did also find great delight and merriment in rendering these words into Alde English (h/t ChatGPT)

Advertising

Usually an afterthought, it important to have something to flip out in person for another to scan, or post online

the concept was to communicate the volume of unseen pollen in the air

Announcing of Tidings

Albeit oft left aside, it behoveth to hold a thing to display afore another, that they may scan it, or post it upon the scroll of the web

a moving semblance (‘Brain’s Throbbing’) wrought its effect with great grace

Storyboarding

I planned extensively for this ambitious release, including support for multiple, deeply layered views and ensuring that all elements would reflow appropriately in landscape orientation

Timers

Both submissions and amendments were held hostage by time-based gatekeepers, a frustration that grew when medications were taken at staggered intervals, obliging timers to run concurrently

Data Analysis

Interrogating numerical data to conjure a natural reading summary of how effective a medication was working for a specific symptom was my stab at "AI"

Craft and Cunning Put to Use

Laying Forth of the Tale

Full diligently did I prepare for this venturesome release, furnishing it with manifold and richly layered views, and seeing that all elements should reflow properly when the frame were turned to landscape

Time-Wardens

Both submissiouns and amendements were held in thrall by keepers of the tyme, a vexation that waxed sore when physicks were taken at staggered hours, compelling sundry timers to run at once

The Reckoning of Numbers

To question the numbers and draw forth a natural tale of how well a physick wrought upon a given affliction - this was mine own poor venture into ‘artificial wit.’
